Farmhouse

I posted about this last year but I had just had to say it again. This restaurant (in Lake George, NY) is FANTASTIC. My husband took me out last night. Since last year, I eliminated corn from my diet, so I wasn’t sure I would have as good an experience as last year, but again the hostess checked with the chef, and said he could make any of the meats for me and any of the vegetables. When they brought out the bread and butter for my husband, they also brought a bowl of mixed olives (which she said were safe for me). Then I had Flying Pigs Farm pork with roasted potatoes, kale and collards, and some local apples that tasted like they were marinated in some kind of viniagrette. My husband ate the duck and practically swooned. He said that he wants to bring some friends and go back next week. I can’t wait!
